You might notice Jylanization has had a bit of a redesign. Immediately visible is the wider design and new header image, but if you look carefully you can see that I’ve also changed my tagline from “Everything you’d want to know about Jylan Wynne” to “Blogging by a 14 year old living in Yeppoon, QLD, Australia.” I felt that these changes enhanced the usability and attraction of Jylanization. What do you reckon?

Go and take a look at briterwebdesign.com, because it’s just had a redesign! I was sick of the old boxy look, so I changed it to a fixed-width layout, rounded the corners and gave it a new look. Below is a list of the things that have changed.
- The fluid layout has gone out the door, with a centred, fixed-width layout replacing it.
- Navigation has changed from vertical to horizontal.
- Title bar has expanded to fill the whole content area.
- Footer has changed style with a striped background instead of a solid background.
- Rounded corners are now in. All the main corners have been converted.
- Text colour has changed from black to dark grey.
- Headings are now all black (changed from different levels of gray).
I think those are just about all the changes. Email me or comment on this post to leave some feedback
