When Cyclone Hamish was hovering off the coast there were even a few good waves straight off the main beach! Pity we can't have waves as good as that all the time.</p> <p>Anyway that surf spot on the way to Corio Bay can be accessed via the Beach with a 4WD, just make sure you have a beach permit from Rocky Council if you're new to the area. Its a bit hard to describe where exactly it is, but as I said on the weekends there are usually quite a few cars around so you should see them.
